 | Christian Gunn Sidelined for Season Wednesday, May 2nd, 2029 The doctors have spoken and Christian Gunn of the Shelby HS Rockets didn't like what he heard. The 19-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Gunn sustained his season-ending injury during the Maris School Mariners game yesterday at Havoc Stadium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Shelby HS medical staff reported Gunn had a torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4-5 months. This year his stats show Gunn has no saves in 5 relief appearances with a 1-1 record and 5.02 ERA. |   |
