The Bishop Amat HS whipped the Billings West HS Golden Bears 14-4 and second baseman Geoffrey Bishop showed off a hot bat, going 5-for-5 at the plate. "Some days, lady luck is on your side," Bishop told BNN reporters after the game. Bishop Amat HS manager David Mendoza told the beat writers otherwise, calling the 16-year-old "focused and patient." "It's not luck," he said. "He has a solid approach to hitting. Geoffrey hits to all fields. The more solid at-bats you put together, the more success you're going to have." Geoffrey Bishop singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 7th.
