He hammered the Billings West HS Golden Bears for 5 hits and drove Newport News HS to a 25-5 win over Billings West HS at Jazz Ballpark. Steve Cooper singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, grounded out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Jesús Barrera in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.
