 | Pierson's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Monday, April 16th, 2029 Curt Pierson's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Otsego HS. The 17-year-old third baseman extended it once again today, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 3-for-3 performance against the Maize HS. The Bulldogs took the game, 11-5. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Curt Pierson walked in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Broderick Jones in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 5th and singled in the 7th. This season Pierson has hit at a .534 clip with 16 RBIs, 5 home runs and 21 runs scored. He has played in 14 games. |   |
