 | Bishop Verot HS End Howard's Streak Monday, April 9th, 2029 The Bishop Verot HS pitching staff did its job today, holding hot-hitting Bob Howard hitless in 4 at-bats during the club's 10-9 victory over the Fresno HS Red Wings at Mudcats Ballpark. The disappointing performance ended a 22-game hitting streak for the first baseman. "I'm a little down right now," Howard said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too." Thus far in 2029 Howard is hitting .361 with 2 home runs, 16 RBIs, 8 runs scored and has compiled a .442 OBP. |   |
