In the end, the Iowa Hawkeyes have triumphed and captured top spot in the division for the 3rd time in team history. "How sweet it is. The champagne tastes great right about now," said third baseman Pedro Cuevas as he celebrated with teammates. "It may have come down to a single game, but this is the culmination of a season's worth of hard work." On the season, Iowa has a 31-19 record. The club will be looking for the 1st College Baseball championship in franchise history. |   |
