 | 5-Hit Blitz by Salas Saturday, May 12th, 2029 It seemed that Florida left fielder Juan Salas could do no wrong as the Gators KO'd the Sooners, 10-2 today. Salas rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Sooners hurlers were throwing. "I think the Gators were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Oklahoma fan after the game. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Salas in the postgame press interview. Juan Salas singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Andrew McCarthy in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Dani Martínez in the 9th.
