| Jordan Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Thursday, May 10th, 2029 Thomas Jordan continued his streak at Red McEwen Field today, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Northwestern first baseman was 1-for-4 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 20 games. The Wildcats were not as fortunate, losing 10-2 to the South Florida Bulls.
"Jordan was hitting everything we threw at him," said South Florida manager José Yánez. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a win." Thomas Jordan flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Denis Hoelscher in the 8th.
