 | Miguel Perea Injured, Out for Year Tuesday, May 8th, 2029 The season is ending on a bad note for Miguel Perea, starting pitcher for the Minnesota Golden Gophers. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Perea was hurt against the Texas Christian Horned Frogs while throwing a pitch. He suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 11 months. This season Perea has worked 30 innings with 24 strikeouts en route to a 1-2 record and a 8.40 ERA. |   |
