Dwayne Lambright Lost for Season
Wednesday, May 2nd, 2029
The doctors have spoken and Dwayne Lambright of the Penn State Nittany Lions didn't like what he heard. The 19-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Lambright sustained his season-ending injury during the Arizona Wildcats game yesterday at Medlar Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Penn State medical staff reported Lambright had a damaged elbow ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 11 months.

Currently Lambright has a 1-1 won-lost record in 6 starts with a 4.37 ERA. He also has 26 strikeouts in 22.2 innings.
