 | Huskies Lose Nevárez for Season Tuesday, May 1st, 2029 Jorge Nevárez of the Huskies just might have to call it quits for the season. The 20-year-old Washington reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the California Golden Bears recently at Evans Diamond. Nevárez suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch. The Huskies medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4 months. This year Nevárez has no saves, totaled 13 innings, allowed 26 base hits and fashioned a 13.15 ERA while racking up 8 strikeouts and a record of 2 wins and 1 loss. |   |
