 | Illinois's Maez Injured, Out of Lineup Tuesday, May 30th, 2028 Disappointing news today for Illinois Fighting Illini fans. Raśl Maez was hurt throwing a pitch in their game against the Arizona Wildcats and has a partially torn labrum. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return but said it was likely the injury will keep the starting pitcher out at least 4-5 months. Over the season Maez has thrown 55.1 innings and dished out 61 strikeouts with a 3-1 mark and a 2.77 ERA. |   |
