Unfortunately for the Hurricanes, that's where he will be spending 18 months. Bernal suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament in today's game against Texas A&M while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." Bernal's record so far this season is 1-and-0 with 1 save and a 3.00 ERA.
