 | Cardinal Come up Short of Playoffs Friday, May 19th, 2028 Marc Miller said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Stanford Cardinal after they missed the College Baseball playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2026. In the last 10 seasons, the Cardinal have missed the playoffs 6 times.
