Southern California Loses Jonathan Willis, Will Miss Season
Sunday, May 14th, 2028
Jonathan Willis of the Trojans just might have to call it quits for the season. The 19-year-old Southern California starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Alabama Crimson Tide recently at Dedeaux Field. Willis suffered radial nerve compression while throwing a pitch. The Trojans medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 11 months.

Currently Willis has a record of 3-0 with 40 strikeouts and 18 walks in 39.1 innings and a 4.35 ERA.
