| Cuevas Chosen 2029 NCAA Dick Howser Award Wednesday, June 20th, 2029 The future looks extremely bright for Pedro Cuevas. At the age of 20, many players are still trying to find their way in College Baseball.
Cuevas has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the College Baseball Dick Howser Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .415 this year, that's for sure," the third baseman said.
The Iowa Hawkeyes star also put up a .580 on-base percentage this year, with 66 hits, 12 doubles, no triples, 19 home runs, 48 RBIs and 43 runs scored.
Dustin Velásquez of the Kansas Jayhawks finished second in voting, while Juan Salas of the Florida Gators finished third. | |
