 | Cougars Ramón Caro to Miss Year Monday, September 10th, 2029 When Ramón Caro was hurt against the Eau Claire Esquires, the Jasper Cougars were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 20-year-old starting pitcher suffered a stretched elbow ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Caro would miss 11 months of the season. To date this season, Caro has registered 12 starts, 2-6 won-lost mark, 4.72 ERA, 55.1 IP, 46 strikeouts and 36 walks.
