 | Eugene Lee Captures APL (24 & Under) Award Monday, September 3rd, 2029 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Appalachian League, but last week Eugene Lee of the Nantucket Orcas reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Lee rocked opposing pitching for a .448 average (13-for-29), 4 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Lee is hitting .333, produced 98 RBIs and 25 home runs, scored 82 times and gotten on base at a .385 rate. |   |
