 | APL (24 & Under) Choice for Batter of the Month is Murillo Saturday, September 1st, 2029 At only 24 years of age, José Murillo could very well be having many more months like the last this in his career. That would be great news for fans of the El Paso Texans, as August was one to remember for the right fielder and he has captured the Appalachian League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .353 with 9 home runs, 31 RBIs and 23 runs scored. Murillo is batting .335 this year with 14 home runs, 61 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has 87 hits in 260 at-bats. |   |
