José Murillo smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the right fielder bashed out 3 hits in 4 at-bats, had 7 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Murillo said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Murillo said. "Three is just... wow." José Murillo hit a two-run home run off John Allen in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off John Allen in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Cristiano Cipolloni in the 6th and walked in the 8th. Murillo is currently batting .326 with 11 home runs, 52 RBIs and 47 runs scored. He has 73 hits in 224 at-bats. |   |
