 | Cintrón Blisters Erie Sunday, September 16th, 2029 5 times is the charm -- at least for Manuel Cintrón. The Minnesota Death Stars shortstop tore up the Erie Jaxx to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Empire Stadium today. The offensive onslaught from Cintrón powered the Death Stars to a 9-3 win. "Cintrón was a tough out today," Erie manager Mario Rosas said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Manuel Cintrón doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jorge Barrón in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.
