| Minnesota Loses Bojórquez for Year Monday, September 3rd, 2029 The doctors have spoken and Carlos Bojórquez of the Minnesota Death Stars didn't like what he heard. The 21-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Bojórquez sustained his season-ending injury during the Barry's Bay Orioles game yesterday at Empire Stadium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Minnesota medical staff reported Bojórquez had a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 12 months.
In 16 starts this year Bojórquez has fashioned a 3-5 record and a 4.20 ERA. | |
