However, the offensive onslaught wasn't enough for the Penquannock Overrated Jeter, who still fell, 12-11. "Sometimes I try to pull the ball too much, so today I just went with the pitch," Wyatt told reporters after the game. "It's great to get 5 hits, but it would have been nicer to win the ballgame. too." Gary Wyatt singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and tripled in the 9th.
