| Lee Hitless, Stopped by ManBearPigs Wednesday, June 13th, 2029 Kingston right fielder Bob Lee experienced something against the Minnesota ManBearPigs he hadn't experienced a while: a hitless game.
The ManBearPigs pitching corps quieted his hot bat and snapped his streak at 20 games, but his teammates picked up the slack to lead the Iguanas to a 9-4 victory at Ballpark of Coaling.
"Hey, ain't nothin' bad about a losing a 20-game hitting streak," Lee joked with reporters after the game. "Now you guys will have to find someone else to bother for stories."
Lee has collected 60 hits for the Iguanas this year, 4 of them home runs. He has also netted 23 RBIs and scored 35 runs while batting .317. | |
