 | Week's Top Performer Honored by SNL (28 & Under) Monday, September 17th, 2029 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Southern League, but last week Jeff Forsyth of the Salem Silver Souls reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Forsyth rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (9-for-18), 5 home runs and 17 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Forsyth has hit 21 home runs and posted a .330 batting average. |   |
