 | BlackIron Loses Ford for Year

The doctors have spoken and Don Ford of the BlackIron Dragons didn't like what he heard. The 20-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Ford sustained his season-ending injury during the Key West Barracudas game yesterday at Hemmingway Memorial Stadium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the BlackIron medical staff reported Ford had a torn rotator cuff and would be absent from the lineup for at least 7 months. |   |
