 | Oliver Shackles San Diego Thursday, May 17th, 2029 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the San Diego Smashers as starter Bret Oliver shut out the San Diego Smashers 7-0 at Red Bulls Field. The Riverside pitcher struck out 8 and walked 1 while allowing 1 hit. "Oliver was good but he wasn't flawless," San Diego manager Mike Fox said later. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Riverside, but this is on us."
