Juan Sánchez put together a very solid month to take home the Northwest League's top pitching honor in August.
The 22-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In 13 relief appearances he raked in 8 saves and 21 strikeouts in 16 innings as he put together his 2-0 record and 1.13 ERA.
To date, Sánchez has 22 saves. In 41 relief appearances he has tossed 48.1 innings, fanned 58 and given up 24 walks with 4 wins and 1 loss. The Menlo reliever has recorded a 1.49 ERA and allowed the opposition to hit .188 when he on the mound. | |
