| Santa Monica Wins Top Spot in Pacific Coast League South Saturday, September 15th, 2029 The manager of the Santa Monica Bruins said "a lot of hard work, talent and luck" are the reasons for his team's Pacific Coast League South championship.
"This club believes in themselves and goes out and gets it done," said Mike Fox. "You can't ask for much more than that as a manager."
It's the club's 5th division crown and gives them an opportunity to win the franchise's 3rd PCL Championship.
"We want that title badly," said starting pitcher Mario Chávez as he took a break from celebrating with teammates. "This is just a start." | |
