He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Calgary Cowboys. Holguín smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 16-10 win. "Alonso was hitting everything," said Stars manager Micah Grindley. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Cowboys manager Manny Pueblo told BNN beat writers that Holguín "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," he said. "Hopefully, Holguín oversleeps next time." Alonso Holguín walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
