 | Murphy on Fire, 5-for-6 Against Albuquerque Wednesday, July 25th, 2029 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Bill Murphy today. Murphy went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Albuquerque pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Red Hot Stadium, he had a 5-for-6 line and a day he will long remember. And the Gresham Gold Souls had a 13-9 victory over the Isotopes. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Bill Murphy singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Horace Jacobs in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
