| Season Over for José Reyes in San Jose Tuesday, July 17th, 2029 José Reyes has to call it a season. The San Jose Missions reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Gresham Gold Souls and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Reyes was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 9 months.
His stats sheet for the year shows Reyes has managed to hold opponents to a .337 average in 29 relief appearances, while putting up 2-5 record with 56 strikeouts and 33 walks in 48.1 innings. He has a 7.08 ERA with no saves. | |
