| Year Ends for Patrick Doyle in Utica Saturday, September 8th, 2029 Patrick Doyle will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Utica reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Doyle was injured while throwing a pitch in the Unicorns-Bats clash at Utica Field recently. Doctors said he has a torn rotator cuff and would be out a minimum of 10 months.
So far this season, Doyle has a 4-5 won-lost record with no saves. He has made 44 relief appearances, logged 81.2 innings and fanned 85 batters while fashioning a 5.84 ERA and allowing the opposition a .343 batting average. | |
