He went on a rampage at Trenton Stadium and paced the Stars to a 19-4 win over the Detroit X-Wings. After his dynamite batting performance, the Trenton second baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. George Reeves singled in the 1st, singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
