 | Townsley Gets 5 Hits Monday, August 6th, 2029 Jeff Townsley of the Hillbillies was unstoppable in today's 16-3 victory over the Detroit X-Wings at Saddlehorn Stadium. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Allentown center fielder after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." Jeff Townsley doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.
