 | Bats End Salazar's Streak Saturday, July 28th, 2029 Lady Luck was not on the side of Ricardo Salazar or his teammates today at Louisville Slugger Field. Everything went the way of the Louisville Bats, who not only came away with the 9-2 victory over Chattanooga, but also held Salazar hitless in 3 at-bats to put an end to his 21-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Salazar said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." Currently Salazar is hitting .396 and has collected 6 home runs, 54 RBIs and scored 42 times, while playing in 70 games. |   |
