 | Salazar Hits in 20 Straight Games Tuesday, July 24th, 2029 Ricardo Salazar of the Chattanooga Chinpokomon tagged 1 hit in today's 14-8 loss to the Blueville 83's at Bulldog Stadium to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Ricardo Salazar grounded out in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and walked in the 8th. Looking at his stats this year, Salazar has compiled a .391 batting average, while hitting 5 home runs and driving in 53 runs. He has played in 68 games and scored 40 runs. |   |
