 | Irvine Gang Green, Bellas Agree to Trade Wednesday, December 19th, 2029 Both sides appear content with the trade finalized today that will send 32-year-old LHP Masutaro Koyama, 32-year-old C Tom Doherty and 29-year-old RF Buck Jones to the Pocatello Bellas, while the Irvine Gang Green will receive 23-year-old RHP Jesús De Los Santos, 25-year-old LHP Halewijn Tipping, 24-year-old C Nick Cox, 26-year-old CF Tomás Carranza and 19-year-old minor league RHP Cipriano Román. "This is a move that filled a few gaps in our roster," said Larry Rice, Gang Green general manager. For his part, the Bellas GM said the trade was made "in the best interest of our organization's future." BNN analysts reported that on paper the trade seemed to be a plus for both ball clubs. Koyama has collected 179 wins and 79 losses over his career with a 2.27 ERA. The 32-year-old hurler also has struck out 2694 batters in 2381 innings and allowed 1655 hits. De Los Santos has gone 27-14 with an ERA of 3.75 in his career, piling up 252 strikeouts in 369.2 innings pitched. |   |
