 | Springfield's Tommy Cox Named Top CL Manager Saturday, November 17th, 2029 Tommy Cox, skipper of the Springfield Stars, was voted 2029 Continental League Manager of the Year and accepted the award earlier today. He guided Springfield to first place in the Continental League Central Division with a 117-45 record. "I'm very happy about this," he said at the press conference, "But I'm more happy about what my boys did on the field. They battled their butts off for me all year.
