| Martínez Raises Awareness at Local Animal Shelter Wednesday, October 17th, 2029 Bandits reliever and noted animal rights activist Alfonso Martínez appeared at a local animal shelter today. Martínez visited the shelter to help call attention to the cause of pet adoption. "These animals desperately need to be taken in by loving families," said the popular San Francisco player as he cradled a small puppy. "Many of these little guys were unwanted and abandoned. I just want to use my status in the community to help find good homes for them."
