| Pocatello Takes Divisional Round in Deciding Game Wednesday, October 17th, 2029 In a series that goes the distance, the difference is often the efforts of one player.
In the Divisional Round, that difference-maker was Pocatello Bellas starting pitcher Kevin Bush, as his team downed the Greenville 84s 4-3, with the final game a 3-2 win at Connie Mack Stadium.
"I've never been as focused as I was in this series," Bush said after the deciding game. "There was only one thing that mattered and that was to get us the win. It makes it worth all the hard work to be able to knock Greenville out and move on to the League Championship."
For the series, Bush had a 1.33 ERA over 20.1 innings pitched, with 22 strikeouts and a 3-0 record.
The Pocatello Bellas will play against the Springfield Stars in the next round. Springfield won their series against the Kalamazoo Royale with Cheese 4 games to 2. The League Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional Round finishes.
