 | Beavers Celebrate Wild Card Win Sunday, September 30th, 2029 The Baffin Island Beavers may not go on to win a BSA Championship, but the team celebrated like they had won a championship tonight after securing a wild card spot. "We were definitely feeling the pressure. To go so late into the season and not know whether you're going to make the playoffs or not, it's intense. That's why you're seeing such an excited reaction," said shortstop Dave Craig. "All our guys I think are just relieved that we made it after all that." It did indeed take a tough battle and with their record at 92-69, the Beavers will now look to bring the 2nd BSA Championship championship to Baffin Island. |   |
