 | Hendersonville Designated Hitter Cole Will Retire Sunday, September 16th, 2029 Jeff Cole said it was an easy decision to announce that this will be his last year of professional baseball. "I'm 42 years old," the Hendersonville Hitmen designated hitter said. "Some of the guys in the clubhouse are young enough to be my son. It's time to go before I start getting white hairs." Career-to-date Cole has rung up a .289 average, played in 2425 games and collected 542 doubles, 68 triples and 411 home runs. |   |
