St Charles first baseman Henry Copeland thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the St Charles to a 7-5 win over Boston. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Copeland said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Copeland was 3-for-3 on the day with 3 RBI. Henry Copeland hit a solo-shot off Jim Hendon in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Hendon in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Beau Murphy in the 6th and walked in the 8th.
