 | Stan Aldridge Injured, Out for Season Thursday, July 12th, 2029 The doctors have spoken and Stan Aldridge of the Houston Marshals didn't like what he heard. The 34-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Aldridge sustained his season-ending injury during the Kansas City Kings game yesterday at The Throne Room. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Houston medical staff reported Aldridge had a ruptured disc and would be absent from the lineup for at least 9 months. Aldridge has started 11 times this year, pitched 44.2 innings, fanned 30 batters and walked 11. His current record is 1 win and 5 losses with a 5.04 ERA. |   |
