| Johnson Razor-Sharp, Shuts Out San Francisco Sunday, June 24th, 2029 Barton Johnson was impressive at Bay View Park today in the El Dorado Oilers' 7-0 shutout victory over the San Francisco Bandits. The El Dorado pitcher mystified the Bandits in a strong performance, giving up 8 hits and totaling 3 walks and 7 strikeouts.
"Barton had them chasing a lot of pitches and talking to themselves," El Dorado manager Chris Wilson. "It was something special to watch."
Thus far this season Johnson has posted a 5-6 record, started 17 games, struck out 89 batters in 111.2 innings and compiled a 4.84 ERA.
