| Gil Fashions Shutout Against Smokin' Guns | Saskatoon dropped a 5-0 shutout to Ángel Gil and the Eau Claire Esquires at Berry Field today. The Smokin' Guns offered little resistance to Gil, who stopped them on 3 hits, fanned 7 and walked 4.
"It just felt right today," the right-handed Gil told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm."
