The skies opened up and the rain fell at Connie Mack Stadium.

The Pocatello Bellas bested the Austin River Sharks, 7-3, at Connie Mack Stadium. Shane Hutchinson was named player of the game. He went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Ramón Silva, who went 7 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 8 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 3. His record now stands at 4-2.

In the top of the seventh, José Liñares stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The River Sharks were trailing 7-3, but had the bases loaded. That's when Ramón Silva made a terrific pitch and Liñares struck out. Gone was the dream of a Austin comeback.
