Hitmen Lose to Oilers, 6-1
|
Flávio De Brito never let Hendersonville get something going. The El Dorado right-hander commanded his circle change in pitching the Oilers to a 6-1 win. De Brito got the win, improving to 1-3. He allowed 3 hits and walked 4 over 7 innings. De Brito allowed 1 earned run. Even with the win, the Oilers have a dismal 12-37 record.
The Oilers got a big at-bat from center fielder José Carlos Caraballo. For the game, Caraballo was 1 for 4. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 46th hit of the season gave El Dorado a 2-1 lead.
"We did a lot of things right," said Caraballo.
