Merritt Lifts Bandits to 8-2 Win
|
The San Francisco Bandits topped the So Cal Bruins by the score of 8-2, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Scott Merritt. Merritt went 4-5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 4 runs for the Bandits. Even with the win, the Bandits have a dismal 12-37 record.
Merritt had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the first inning, when he hit a run-scoring triple. The Bandits went on to win.
